New band website!

 Saanich Peninsula Pipe Band has a new website!

As a result, the blog will become an archive of band activity since 2007 and will not be updated with current events.

After the isolating time of covid and social distancing we are delighted to see the return of parades, gigs and more importantly pipers and drummers! 

Along with this we have built a beautiful new website, providing information on the band, links on how to join or find out more, and many great photos and videos.

Remembrance Day

Date: Nov. 11, 2023

Location: Meet at Mary Winspear Centre

Time: 09:30AM for tuning. Form up at 10:15AM.

Parade step off at 10:25AM

Dress: Full uniform, poppy and bring a rain cape just in case.

Music: Regular, easy street marches (+ Maple Leaf for the march past)

Sidney Sparkles Parada

Date: December 3, 2023

Location: Emerald Isle parking lot

Time: 4:15PM tune up for 5:00PM step off

Dress: Layer for the weather, lights and Santa hats.

Music: tbd

No Practice Tuesday, September 5th

 There will be no formal band practice this Tuesday (Sept. 5th).

Any who wish to practice at the hall, please check with a key holder (Craig F.) as to whether the hall will be open.

We hope to take some of the new tunes off the table and onto the pipes, please practice:

 Thanks to the Aviation Museum, we had a wonderful alternate practice location throughout Covid and beyond.
